Inspired by Aly Raisman in Cleveland
We were inspired by an Olympian! Gold Medal Gymnast and Activist Aly Raisman headlined NCJW/Cleveland’s Opening Meeting. The event included a sit-down lunch and candid conversation with Raisman, moderated by Laurel’s Head of School, Ann Klotz. Raisman wowed the crowd as she spoke about her journey as an athlete and now an outspoken activist. Before the meeting, she spoke separately to nearly 300 kids, using her own story as a platform to help and ultimately empower others. She spoke to both students and parents on a variety of topics – from sexual abuse and bullying to social media and speaking out.
