Last year, our IGP Emergency Appeal applied a gender lens to the war to make a real difference on the ground in Israel. Through the generous support of NCJW advocates and sections, we were able to direct $200,000 to meet urgent needs and ensure women’s voices were heard in matters of security, recovery, peace and negotiation. Our diverse portfolio of emergency allocations reflects NCJW’s unique added value in seeding new initiatives, serving diverse communities, and always centering women, children and families. Established in the late 1990s, the Israel Granting Program (IGP) is a funding pool raised by NCJW’s network of advocates to support Israeli advocacy and service organizations. IGP deepens connections between American and Israeli feminists, is built on NCJW’s long legacy of support for the State and people of Israel, and has granted millions of dollars over the years to grassroots Israeli organizations.
