Enduring Advocate Award 2020: Cheryl Pollman
Cheryl Pollman, NCJW Dallas Section
When Cheryl retired as a corporate attorney, she channeled her legal and advocacy skills into addressing local, national, and global issues of inequality and injustice, focusing her efforts on behalf of women, children, and families. Cheryl found NCJW, Greater Dallas Section, to be the perfect vehicle for pursuing social change. Serving as Vice-President of Community Service, Chair of Strategic Planning, and as President of the Section, Cheryl was able to proactively develop and implement community-wide projects that addressed topics as diverse as the fair treatment of undocumented immigrants, voter protection, and gun violence prevention.
