Restore public trust in our federal courts!
The Judicial Ethics and Anti-Corruption Act, introduced by Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), would modernize our nation’s judicial ethics laws and restore public trust in our federal court system. This legislation includes an overhaul of the judicial recusal process, the establishment of a Supreme Court code of conduct, and a ban on federal judges owning individual stocks. These reforms would ensure that judges and justices are held to the highest ethical standards and are free from conflicts of interest.
