For 118 years, the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) has worked to realize progressive goals through pioneering action. From coast to coast and as far away as Israel, NCJW embodies its reputation as the “voice of the progressive Jewish woman” and provides opportunities for all people to stand up and speak out for social change.
The impact of NCJW is strong and steady, public and personal. NCJW’s 90,000 members and supporters educate, activate, and mobilize — helping those in need, protecting fundamental rights and liberties, and creating change that will secure a better future for generations to come. This courageous and committed action takes place at all levels, from local communities to Capitol Hill. And whether these advocates are working as individuals, as an NCJW section, or in coalitions, they are all working as leaders with voice and vision.
